I discovered strength training during my senior year of high school, where my initial focus was on bodybuilding. During that time, I also worked on mastering the big three: bench, squat, and deadlift. I laid a solid foundation through research and consistent practice, gradually improving my strength and technique. This eventually introduced me to the world of Olympic weightlifting. ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ After high school, I enlisted as a combat engineer in the Army National Guard. I met some incredible people, did some awesome things, and got to blow some stuff up. I served for six years and was discharged in January 2023. My passion for weightlifting began in college. I was fortunate to train under experienced coaches and alongside some high-level athletes. Being in this environment allowed me to consistently refine my skills, eventually becoming the athlete I am today. ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ When it comes to coaching Olympic weightlifting, my approach mirrors the way I try to improve myself. The goal is to strive for consistent perfection. I believe that there is an endless road to improvement and that an athlete can reach their highest potential through perfect practice and consistent training.
